The Dutch designer Floris Schoonderbeek has created a bioclimatic sphere that guarantees a constant temperature of 10-12° C in a completely natural way.
Starting from a principle common to many peasant farms in the Mediterranean basin, where there are numerous examples of cellars or rooms dedicated to preservation of food, this underground "fridge" has been conceived, with a spherical body and an entrance appendix that allows entry through stairs.
To improve performance, the sphere is surrounded by a water reservoir and controlled by a home automation system that eliminates odors.
Once again, then, by farmer genius, there is a smart solution, which with few technological improvements allows to limit the waste of food in a totally eco-friendly way.
