In 1956 Felice Gennasio founded Alfagomma S.p.A., which in 45 years has achieved international leadership in design, manufacturing and distribution of rubber hoses.
The strength of this great company was undoubtedly the transition from a more generic production of rubber products, to a more specialized and sectorial reserved for flexible hoses.
On the footprint of this turning-point, was created new industrial units: in 1972 was born in Teramo Alfagomma South S.p.A. dedicated to the production of tubes for industrial use, in 1975 it was the turn of the Hydraulic Hose South S.p.A., specializing in the production of hydraulic pipes for high pressure. The latest entrepreneurial endeavor is called Alfagomma Industrial S.p.A.: the factory was born in Teramo in 1992, dedicated to research, design and manufacturing of compound of rubber and vulcanized thermoplastic and thermoplastic industrial pipes.
Immediate consequence of this growth is the opening to world markets, to which offers a more complete range of products and specific solutions. Today Alfagomma is present all over the world with production centers and distributors in over 50 countries.
