SPRING TO THE SIGN OF DROUGHT

The spring for Italian farmers is representing a period of strong water crisis. From north to south there was a fall of 47% compared to the annual average, up to 72% in some areas. After a winter with low precipitation and strong drought in March, which was down 53%, Coldiretti estimates that the situation is likely to worsen especially in the north.
To pay the expenses are mainly vineyards already seriously compromised by hail and frost, which now find themselves having to cope with the drought.
