This tool helps you determine with precision enough density, the amount of sugar and alcohol content of wine that you'll get from the must.

The instrument is provided with 3 graduated scales that at the point of affioramento indicate respectively:

-Must density in degrees Baume (blue band)

-The quantities of sugar corresponding to that density (percentage by weight of sugar: yellow band)

The Guyot glucometer is set at 15°. When the juice has a different temperature, you will have:

-subtract the measurement of 0.1 for every degree of temperature below 15° C

-Add the measure of 0.2 for every degree of temperature above 15° C

-The amount of ethanol that will be obtained from the same sugar content (ABV overall: white band).
