mucca

The intense warmth of the last few weeks has also been felt in the Italian areas of pasture and livestock. Throughout the peninsula, hot waves spread to leopard spots, far above the temperature of 22 to 24 degrees ideal for cows, which together with high humidity represent high mortality risks and a strong production emergency.
The strong drought also represents a further difficulty for the breeders who need to supply hay from the outside and, in some cases, also water.
In fact, with the high temperatures of these days, every animal gets to drink up to twice the water it normally would.
In these cases, spraying and cooling systems are very useful, which with a minimum of water consumption, allow to lower the temperatures in the stables, greatly improving the life of animals and consequently their productivity.
