biologico

The Ministry for Agricultural Policies estimated that in 2016 the areas planted with organic farming in Italy increased by 20%. It's a percentage destined to grow, with an increase that doesn't affect only the soil (300,000 hectares converted to the organic), but also the operators.
It also increases the facilities, both from Europe with the allocation of funds, and from Italy with the introduction of certified organic canteens and the strengthening of controls.
The crops that have recorded an increase in the choice of the organic are vegetables, cereals, vines and olives. The driving region is Sicily, followed by Puglia and Calabria.
