xeriscaping

The xeriscaping is a garden design method with the main objective to limit water waste. It's a technique that prefers plants that are well suited to the specific climate, in addition to the stratification of the soil which avoids water loss by filtration, leaching, erosion and evaporation. This technique will soon become the most used method for design green spaces, as in view of the increasing water scarcity, the gardens will only become "intelligent". This is not a cactus garden, but spaces green, lush, rich in flower beds and flowering plants. The preliminary phase consists by an analysis of the place, examining the passage of the sun, the soil and the degree of rainfall, while the actual design takes into account the distance of the plants from the main structure by splitting into three zones: the oasis, the intermediate area and the dry area. The plants that need more water should be ordered in the oasis, near the main buildings, the intermediate zones are characterized primarily by grass and the arid by plants that have little water needs.
