basilico

When designing the vegetable garden it's a good idea to take into account the different features and properties of the plants. The rows or flowerbeds must be organized according to the water needs of the varieties, according to areas of light and shadow of the plot and, it would not be a bad idea to foresee to place close among them naturally repellent plants for the parasitic insects of those certain varieties. The tomato and the basil, for example, are in perfect combination not only at the table, but also in the garden, since the basil naturally dismisses the moth of the tomato. In the same way the thyme is useful to keep away the cabbage butterfly and sage, mint, rosemary and parsley annoy the snails. These are useful measures for those who have a small garden and want to avoid as much as possible to use pesticides, in favor of organic and natural crops.
