Calendula
With the summer season comes the problem of insects that attack in and out of the house and ruin the tranquility of the open air evenings.
Without using chemicals, we can get good help from many plants that can annoy insects.
Mint
If strategically positioned, these can create a real "barrier effect", which can greatly limit the presence of insects at home. The most unwelcome insect is mosquito, which can be removed as well as with the most classic lemongrass, also calendula, catmint, geraniums, basil, rosemary, mint and lavender.
Nasturtium
Lemongrass, calendula and geraniums, along with the laurel and the roman absinthe, are also effective against wasps and calabrons, while nasturtium can help to repel bugs.
