In the spring you can find a multitude of wild herbs, which you can bring to the table. Depending on the areas you can find different varieties of herbs, but the main indication, as for the mushrooms, is to never collect anything that you don’t know.
It’s also important to make sure not to collect in areas close to the road, which might be contaminated, or in areas treated with herbicide or pesticide. The variety offered by our field consists of: wild arugula, watercress, borage, chard, turnip greens, wild chicory, dandelion, burdock, wild carrot, nettle, plantain, mallow, wild fennel, marguerite daisy, etc..
But the prince picked wild herbs of spring is asparagus, inevitable in combination with eggs on Easter table.
