At the end of season or every 30 hours of work, if intensive use, the brush cutter should be revised to ensure a long life and a more optimal operation.
The operations to do are:

- tighten screws and bolts that may have come loose during use due to vibration;

- clean the spark plug and gently rub the electrodes with sandpaper;

- clean the air filter from dust and debris;

- grease the bevel gear by unscrewing the bolt at its end;

- empty the tank after each use to avoid fouling.
The golden rule for long life of the trimmer and all mixture powered tools is to mix oil and gasoline only if necessary and for the strictly necessary quantity, because the advanced blend is unusable and leave the excesses in the tank would compromise the operation of the engine.
