Comes from the United States this vegan and eco-friendly novelty derived from the waste of wine production.
It's artisanal prepared from seeds and grape pomace of the wine processing, sun dried and finely ground to stone. It's a product destined to become a must in the kitchen, thanks to the important nutritional and aromatic properties. In fact, this is extremely protein, rich in fibers, polyphenols, mineral salts and antioxidants that make it an extremely demanded product not only from vegans, but also from the most demanding chefs.
For the moment there are eight different varieties derived from different varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Riesling, but the list is destined to lengthen as soon as this procedure takes hold in Europe.
